Frequently Asked

  • During your 60-minute initial evaluation, time will be taken to understand your personal journey—where you've been, your current situation, and your aspirations. This conversation allows me to gain insight into your experiences and goals. Following this, I'll conduct a comprehensive assessment that examines your posture, strength, and range of motion, focusing on areas pertinent to your concerns. If appropriate, we'll also discuss and consider an internal pelvic floor muscle assessment. If any immediate treatments can enhance your comfort or performance, we'll address them during this session. Finally, together, we'll develop a personalized plan tailored to your goals and lifestyle, equipping you with the tools to take control of your health and wellness.

  • In my experience within various insurance-based models, I've observed that insurance constraints can sometimes limit patients' access to necessary care, delay treatment, or prematurely discontinue therapy once initial improvements are noted. By moving away from insurance-based models, we place decision-making directly in your hands. This approach empowers us to collaboratively determine the course and duration of your therapy, free from external limitations, ensuring that your treatment aligns with your personal goals and needs.

  • In Texas, you're allowed to begin physical therapy without a physician's referral for up to 10 consecutive business days. If treatment is needed beyond this period, we'll need to obtain a referral from a qualified healthcare provider to continue. This process ensures that your care remains coordinated and comprehensive.
